Best Pitcher Picked by Midwest League
When Dan Corder takes the hill, there's a good chance for a Quincy victory. At least that's the way it was in May.
He excelled with a 4-1 mark and a 2.22 ERA in 6 starts, tossed 44.2 innings, fanned 46, and held enemy hitters to a .191 average.
That's why the Cubs star was honored today as the Pitcher of the Month by the Midwest League.
This year, Corder has a 6-4 record and a 1.62 ERA.
