Brown Bangs Out 5 Base Hits

William Brown had an answer for everything the Sumter Guardians threw at him at Anderson Memorial Stadium. The Anderson left fielder went 5-for-6 in the game to put his name in the record book and give the Senators a win, 12-5.

Summing up his batting philosophy to BNN writers after the game, Brown said, "I just see the ball and I hit it."

William Brown struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Harry Fry in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.

Thus far this year, Brown has hit .396 with 1 home run and 6 RBIs.
