Mountain Takes Home WCRS Top Batter Award

John Mountain let his bat do the talking in June and the Western Carolinas League heard him loud and clear. He made plenty of noise as he put together a .370 batting average and was named the top hitter of the month.

Mountain's month to remember saw him accumulate 30 hits, 3 home runs, 18 RBI, 11 runs, 14 walks and a .458 on-base percentage.

Currently Mountain has 3 home runs and a .370 batting average.
