Perzanowski at His Best, Blanks Columbus

Mobile White Sox starter Stan Perzanowski really did a number on the Columbus Astros, shutting them out, 5-0, on 6 hits in a complete game victory. He issued 3 walks and had 9 strikeouts.

"We didn't have good at-bats," said Columbus manager <Jake DuPont:coach#334>. "I don't make excuses, but when we were playing the game, our energy didn't show. That comes from either extremely good pitching or extremely lousy hitting and seeing as our team has a bunch of good hitters, I have to tip my cap to Perzanowski."

So far this year, Perzanowski has a 3-1 record with a 3.55 ERA.
