Drago Holds Evansville Scoreless
Goose eggs were the order of the day for the Evansville Triplets as starter Dick Drago shut them out, 5-0, at Bosse Field. The Omaha pitcher struck out 8 and walked 1 while allowing 5 hits.
"Drago was good but he wasn't flawless," Evansville manager <Nate Menard:coach#284> said. "We had a few opportunities to make something happen and we didn't do it. Not to take anything away from Omaha, but this is on us."
