Moore Holds Bakersfield Scoreless

Barry Moore was dynamite at Moana Stadium, blowing away the Bakersfield Dodgers in a shutout victory. The Reno Silver Sox starter had everything working as he held the Dodgers to 5 hits in the 6-0 win.

"He was pure nasty out there today," said Bakersfield skipper <Tom Kopec:coach#443>. "I don't think any team in the league would've had a chance against what he was bringing."

Moore finished the game with 10 strikeouts and no walks.

So far this season, Moore has a record of 4-0 with 39 strikeouts and 14 walks in 37.2 innings and a 1.19 ERA.
