Cedeno 5-for-5 for Oklahoma City

Cesar Cedeno told the press after his 5-hit day, "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate. He wants to hit the ball hard."

Well, that's just what Cedeno of the Oklahoma City 89ers did against the Wichita Aeros. He went to the plate 5 times and 5 times he delivered base hits, but his club still suffered a defeat, 7-5.

"Not much I can say," offered Cedeno in the postgame press conference. "I got a bunch of hits, but it would have been much better to get a win. Can I trade 5 hits for the win?"

Cesar Cedeno singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 9th.

For the year, Cedeno is hitting .514 with 3 home runs. His stats include 8 RBI and 24 runs scored.
