Bahnsen Silences Houston, 2-0

Montreal Expos pitcher Stan Bahnsen blanked the Houston Astros, 2-0, at Jarry Park, tossing a 5-hitter while issuing 2 walks and collecting 2 strikeouts.

After his sharp shutout performance, he shared credit with the rest of the club.

"I was just locked in out there and some of that is due to having a catcher who has such a great feel for hitters," Bahnsen said. "I couldn't do what I did without all the guys out there today."

So far this year, Bahnsen has compiled a 2-6 record with a 3.86 ERA.
