Aeros Blanked by Osborn, 1-0

All went well for Dan Osborn of the Indianapolis Indians as he pitched his team to a shutout victory, 1-0, over the Wichita Aeros, limiting them to 4 hits. In the postgame interview, both managers had glowing things to say about Osborn on the day.

"Dan's got a good selection of pitches he can throw at a guy," said Indians manager Pete Salvage. "He changes speed, gives different looks to different hitters. When he's on his game, he's quite a handful."

In the contest, the Indianapolis right-hander rang up 3 and surrendered 4 walks.

"He didn't give us any second chances," said Aeros manager <Chris Standish:coach#309>. "It's a guessing game with him and today we were always guessing wrong."

This season, Osborn has crafted a 13-1 mark with a 1.72 ERA in 115.1 innings. Opposing clubs are batting .240 against him and he has 57 strikeouts.
