Reed Records 1-0 Shutout Against Toledo
Ron Reed of the Richmond Braves humiliated the Toledo Mud Hens at Parker Field, spinning a complete game shutout and holding the visitors to 6 hits.
"He stayed aggressive and his ball was really moving," said Toledo manager <Omari Dunbar:coach#239>, after the game.
Reed whiffed 7 and walked 1 in the 1-0 win.
"If I make good pitches, I'm going to get some outs," Reed said. "I was making good pitches the entire game."
Looking at his season stats, Reed has won 5 and lost 1, collecting 33 strikeouts and 7 walks in 51.2 innings with a 3.48 ERA.
