Shreveport Bats Silenced by Scott
In a seemingly effortless performance, Wes Scott of the Amarillo Giants shot down the Shreveport Braves, 4-0, on 4 hits.
"Wes was just locating so well and using his pitches," Amarillo manager Brendan Larson said later. "He wasn't leaving anything over the plate."
Scott recorded 14 strikeouts and 5 walks in a strong outing.
"When he needed to make pitches, he elevated his game," Shreveport manager <Josh Rollings:coach#395> said in postgame comments to BNN. "We couldn't get a key hit off him."
