Wolff Takes This Week's Trophy

A hot-hitting week got Billy Wolff the Texas League Player of the Week trophy. He really wore out his welcome with league pitchers.

The Arkansas right fielder slammed them for a .583 average, 14 hits in 24 at-bats, no home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 8 runs.

In the postgame press conference, Wolff shared his hitting philosophy with the BNN scribes: "Just look for the seams and hit between them... nothin' more than that."

So far this season, Wolff has put up a .387 batting average with 24 hits, no home runs and 5 RBIs.
