Hopkins Week's Top Player
It was a fantastic week for Watertown right fielder Don Hopkins and it was capped off today with the announcement that he was named the winner of the Northern League Player of the Week Award.
Last week Hopkins hammered the ball at a torrid .350 pace, going 7-for-20 with 4 home runs, 8 RBIs and 5 runs scored.
