Jackson at His Best, Blanks Orlando
It was a smooth and solid performance by Alan Jackson of the Winter Haven Red Sox against the Orlando Twins. He crafted a fine 5-hitter to blank the Twins, 3-0. He chalked up 8 strikeouts and 1 walk along the way.
"It certainly makes my job easy when my pitcher tosses a shutout," said Winter Haven skipper Bob Jablonski. "I can just sit back, watch and enjoy."
