Phoenix third baseman Tito Fuentes had a day to remember, 5-for-5 against the Eugene Emeralds at Civic Stadium as the Giants picked up a win, 6-3.
"He was patient up there," Phoenix skipper Ken Hernandez told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Fuentes has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes."
